Miriam Häßler studied art history and history at the universities of Münster and Hamburg; her final thesis (Magister) in 2011 examines the political and aesthetic mechanism of the ROSTA windows; from 2012 to 2014 she was assistant curator at the Bucerius Kunst Forum, Hamburg, where she participated in several exhibition projects, such as Rodchenko. A new era (2013); since 2014 she is working as research assistant at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg; since 2015 she is scholar of the graduate school “Geisteswissenschaften“ at the university of Hamburg; her doctoral thesis on the artistic and political aftermathes of the “First Russian Art Exhibition“ 1922 in Berlin is in progress.
